National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists
In the fall of 2005, more than 1.4 million students in nearly
21,000 high schools throughout the United States took the PSAT test. The nationwide
Semifinalist, which represents less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors, includes
the highest scoring entrants in each state. We are extremely pleased to announce
these two Althoff students achieved the status of Semifinalist. Jennifer &
Laura will advance to the Finalist level and from this group all Merit Scholarship
winners will be chosen.
A total of 8,200 Merit Scholarship awards worth $33 million will be awarded
in the Spring of 2007.
