Corkscrew Willow

Tree Description

Wide, round tree. It has many trunks.  All parts of the tree corkscrew .  

Leaf Description

• Leaf Texture is smooth
  
• Leaf Arrangement is alternate
• Leaf Margin is finely serrated
• Leaf Venation is pinnate
• Leaf Division is simple
• Leaf Attachment is Petiolate
• Leaf Shape is long and slender but corkscrews

Bark Description
       
The bark isrough with irregular ridges.  Has a reddish gray color.

Twig and Bud Description

                
Twigs are greenish, gray and hang down like ropes.  The twigs corkscrew.

Fruit Description 

The fruits are small clusters of triangular capsules containing many fine seeds. They are light brown in color
