Bradford Pear

Tree Description

Thin tree with a wide base. It has a distinctly conical shape.  

Leaf Description

• Leaf is shiny on top
  
• Leaf Arrangement is alternate
• Leaf Margin is finely serrated
• Leaf Venation is pinnate
• Leaf Division is simple
• Leaf Attachment is Petiolate
• Leaf Shape is ovate

Bark Description
       
The bark is smooth with lenticels and has a brown to reddish brown to gray color.The aged bark develops furrows.

Twig and Bud Description

                
Twigs are glossy brown to reddish brown.  

Fruit Description 

Small, green pomes that turn brown when mature.
