A spreading tree. This particular specimen had been cut at the trunk a number of times and has grown with multiple trunks.

Bark Description
       
The bark has a reddish gray color and has shallow irregular fissures


Flower Description

                
The flowers are showy, white with purple streaks.  They grow in upright clusters.
