Something fun about yourself: Mrs. Newton has taught in Australia and
is married to an Australian.
This summer she and her husband hiked in the Grand Canyon and Siquoia National
Forest before traveling to Australia for a relaxing holiday. She was a finalist
for the Loeb Prize for teachers through the St. Louis Science Center.
Mrs. Newton won the Emerson Teaching award in 2005.
