Science

The Science Department is on the cutting edge through its updated curriculum, utilization of the computer lab, use of the Smart Board and other new technology.  Our present curriculum focuses on problem-solving and real world issues.  We are also looking beyond tomorrow to insure that as new information and technology becomes available, we continue to involve our students in the ever-changing world of Science and Science related careers.

Each of the following possible programs will satisfy the current three-year lab science requirement for admission to colleges and universities.  Freshman admission to the Honors Science Program requires enrollment in the Honors Geometry course and outstanding performance on the placement test.  A student who is not enrolled in the Honors Program during the freshman year may apply for Honors admission the following year if the student shows outstanding achievement and obtains the recommendation of their math and science teachers.
