Theology
Our students, teenages, young people striving to form a community, daring to challenge the values of today's world, attempting to make mature decisions; opting for Christian values and lifestyles.
Our job is to nurture the seeds of faith you have already planted in the hearts and minds of your sons and daughters. Therefore, the students are encouraged to participate in the Eucharist, to discovery the power of prayer and to be open to learning more about God, themselves, the people around them, and the people of global earth as well as their responsbility to each.
The success of our combined efforts can best be measured by the actions of our students and their families, our faculty and administration, and the interaction of each of these groups.

Freshman Theology
The goal of Freshman Theology is to challenge the student to actively participate in the building of a faith community. To do this they are provided with the opportunity to experience God's reverence for life as presented in Scripture.
The exploration of the faith family tree includes:
- Studying Salvation History of the Old Testament;
- Identifying with the life of Jesus, understanding His redemptive act, and reviewing the sacraments of initiation;
- Exploring individual values and attitudes toward life.
Sophomore Theology
The Sophomore Theology focuses on moral decision-making and the relationships we form. The students are challenged to examine their values and are encouraged to make decisions following Jesus' example, Catholic teaching, and the moral virtues. This decision-making process is also incorporated in the discussions we have on responsible dating and sexuality from a Christian perspective.
Junior Theology
The first semester of the Junior Theology course challenges each student to accept their role as a participant in both the local and world communities. This is achieved through the study of Social Justus issues at each level of society.
The second semester engages the student in a broad study of the history of the Catholic Church. Major events and people of Church History are examined in order to understand the progress and development of the Church from the Pentecost to the present day.
Senior Theology
The Senior Theology courses are directed at the ultimate questions and the fundamental concerns of life and give students a stronger foundation for integrating all of their theological students at Althoff Catholic. Students are encouraged to own what they believe, to know what the Catholic Church teaches, to hear what Jesus teaches, to hear what Jesus teaches about - trust, faith, God, prayer, suffering, death, and evil, and to explore how they can share their talents through their vocational choices.
