THE STUDENT AMBASSADORS GROUP IS
A SERVICE ORGANIZATION
MEMBERSHIP: Membership
is based on application, recommendation, and selection by the moderator. Students
who are enthusiastic, spirited, and genuinely like ACHS are encouraged to
apply. Active membership includes:
- attendance at meetings
- participation in key recruitment/retention
activities
- devoting time to organization
support
- donating a minimum of 4 hours
to Student Ambassador activities
ALL MEMBERS MUST MAINTAIN A 2.5
GRADE POINT AVERAGE.
ACTIVITIES: Activities
include, but are not limited to the following:
- recruitment visits to feeder
schools
- serving as tour guides at
Open House
- serving as partners to prospective
students who visit Althoff through the Spend-A-Day program
- writing articles for the "Crusader
Corner" newsletter
- helping transfer students
adjust to Althoff
- donating service hours to
the Development Office
- serving as facilitators at
Freshman Orientation
- working at the Althoff Auction
