Film Club
The Film Club provides students the opportunity to explore the medium of film, its complexities, its language, in order to develop a stronger understanding and appreciation of film as entertainment and as an art form. It also helps students recognize the important of conveying messages through film elements and learn techniques to plan, create, present, and evaluate a film. Gaining the valuable experience in analysing and producing media it assists in learning how to produce a film for a particular target audience. Students will enjoy good company and good films in an environment geared toward encouraging the appreciation of films on a deeper level through critical thinking and dialogue.
Faculty Advisor:

"A Film is a ribbon of dreams. The camera is much more than a recording apparatus. It is a medium via which messages reach us from another world that is not ours and that brings us to the heart of a great secret. Here magic begins."
Orson Wells
