The yearbook is an integral piece of any high school. A yearbook is a public relations tool that leaves a lasting impression on the school community and the community-at-large. The yearbook staff is responsible for publication of a quality book which equates to running a small journalism business.

The staff is organized into four functional groups
All positions require attention to detail and the ability to meet established deadlines. Staff members will meet on the Wednesdays when there are no faculty meetings at 8:00 a.m.. They are also required to come to a meeting on Tuesdays at 3:15 or Friday mornings at 7:30. Staff members may have to attend additional work sessions near deadline times. Yearbook staff members can earn half of an an elective credit for their contribution.

Yearbook staff members are primarily recruited during the spring for the following year. Interestedstudents are encouraged to share their interest with Mrs. Karen Foeller or Mrs. Luann Toennies, yearbook co-advisors. The recruiting process includes completion of an application and securing two teacher recommendations. Limit: 30 staffers.
